How to ‘Flow’ in Yoga | Beginner’s Guide to Sun Salutations Part 1

In this video I will be breaking for the Sun Salutation sequence so you can feel prepared when you attended a yoga flow class! Pause, rewind as replay as many times as you need until you feel confident! Sun salutations, or “Surya Namaskar,” are a sequence of yoga poses traditionally performed in the morning to greet the sun. This dynamic series enhances flexibility, strengthens muscles, and promotes cardiovascular health. It’s foundational in yoga, often used as a warm-up or a complete practice to balance body and mind. I am still very much in the early stages of my training/ teaching but I am practicing my teaching as well as my yoga and I hope you enjoy! Grab your mat and let’s begin! DISCLAIMER: As mentioned above, I am currently undertaking my 200hour yoga teacher training. This video is aimed for people who already have a good yoga foundation to flow along with me. My videos are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended for/is not safe for certain medical conditions. Please speak to your registered doctor if you have concerns about this.
